We are beginning to work on number sense. This week we have been focusing on numbers 6-10 on the tens frame. We notice a pattern when creating these numbers on our tens frame. 6 is five and one more, 7 is five and two more, 8 is five and three more, 9 is five and four more, 10 is five and five more. This is helping us understand ADDITION. We have talked about what an addition symbol means and we can identify it. We have talked about what an equals sign means and we can identify it.
